educational packages
What the Eemlandhoeve has to offer:
- Educational packages for elementary schools and secondary education: lesson plans about the farm (ditches and ponds, small livestock, insects, bees, plants, etc) and environmental education (landscape, farm types, cultural history, water management, biology, geography) in cooperation with the Educational Countryside Foundation
- Educational packages for middle school: instructions about regional development, fieldwork concerning landscape development, regional products.
- Excursion program large scale/multifunctional agriculture for institutions of higher education: (in cooperation with the Eemland Dairy- the largest farm in the Eemland/Utrecht regions) presentation about rural development in the Netherlands.
- Educational programs in the Landscape House: Readable Landscape; the farm cinema with films about food, farms and life on the land; production of an exposition about the region by a school class; tasting lessons from a regional cook with farm products.
