the grounds and buildings

The buildings
- The front hall: the main building at the front of the deep litter barn. Managed by host Harry Lamberts; this building houses a majority of the meetings.
- Deep litter barn with cattle: people often walk along the open barn between meetings and look directly into the big brown eyes of the Blonde d' Aquitaines.
- Small
livestock barn 1: home to the
education office. Nicolette van de
Kamp and her co-workers develop educative programs here.
Small livestock barn 2: adjacent to the office, this is the reception room for education and the Boerenbakkie coffee house. Marieke and Simone serve delicious coffee accompanied by homemade cake. - Hayshed
1: the front of this building is home
to the farm store with its delicious regional products.
Hayshed 2: a large open room used for meetings and family gatherings.
Hayshed 3: the offices of farmer Jan, Willem&Drees, Ark&Eemlandschap and the RIC Eemland- a regional innovation centre where various students work. - Haystack 1: the actual hay and straw storage for the farm. Underneath this is a workshop for the care clients where many odd jobs for the farm are done.
- Haystack 2: the care farm d'Boerenkiel. A place for the 'farmhands' that do many odd jobs on and around the farm.
- Landscape house: this new space is used for expositions and recreational landscape arrangements. Below is the 'farm cinema' and above, the 'farm lounge' where regional people discuss the landscape; making plans and putting them into action.
- The Serenity Island with a nature observatory.
- Parking facilities on the east side of the farm with three entrances: front entrance: direct access to meeting rooms, middle entrance: access to offices and meeting rooms via the cows in the barn, back entrance by the roundabout: entrance to the care farm and the landscape house.
